The EP determines the private use of the current facilities of the Mas de Can Batlle mainly to enable the development of the sector to carry out agricultural and hospitality activities. The Natural Framework, views and proximity of the Area of ​​Interest and Natural Protection of the Natural Park of the Volcanic Zone of La Garrotxa justify that the use promotes environmental awareness and research, while exemplifying a type of intervention of very low environmental impact. To do this, it is necessary to maintain the pre-existing with a traditional character, such as the Masia and the barn, for the development and use of accommodation. In this respect, the character of traditional architecture, combined with new technologies for energy efficiency and the use of renewable energies, converge in a total exemplary harmony.
